The Quartbreakers, founded in 2004, are Munich's most multifaceted vocal ensemble. The seven singers all enjoyed a musical education from the renowned Toelzer Boys Choir and during that time performed with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Daniel Barenboim, James Levine and Zubin Mehta. Combining a deliberate variety of musical styles and covering plenty of epochs ìThe Quartbreakersî bring together highest vocal skills and the joy and spirit of a young a capella ensemble.

Shortly after their formation ìThe Quartbreakersî performed at the Allerheiligen Hofkirche in Munich, which was recorded and live broadcasted by the Bayerische Rundfunk. Since 2008 the ensemble is a regular guest at Germany¥s most famous a capella festival ìVokal Totalî. In addition, the seven singers are regularly invited to perform at corporate, political and cultural events all over Germany. In 2010 ìThe Quartbrakersî performed a series of concerts for Swiss Re in Zurich, appeared at the RIAS award ceremony in Berlin, at the Bayerische Staatskanzlei, the Ludwig-Maximilians-University and the Bayerische Eliteakademie in Munich.

The last stage programm "Wa-huuu" started in October 2010 in Munich and was celebrated by the growing nationwide audience. The first studio recording "Wir sind ein oh!" was released in 2008.

The Quartbreakers are Matthias Schloderer (Tenor and musical leader), Christoph Kahlert (Tenor), Stefan Pangratz (Tenor), Maximilian Hinz (Baritone), Andreas Partilla (Baritone), Matthias Ritter (Bass) and Tristan Franke (Bass).
